Dennis Scalese is the Pastor of Pastoral Care at Ephrata Community Church. His scope of care includes individual pastoral care, counseling, and managing outreach to the community through ECC’s Benevolence Ministry. 

He also networks with other churches and ministries in the region to provide resources for those who attend ECC and those who look to ECC for assistance. He oversees several ministries including eight Pastoral Care Teams that help support the church's immediate and ongoing needs.

Dennis has earned undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Theology and a Master’s degree in Theology. He has been a pastor in a church setting for over 22 years and served in a Social Service agency for 12 years, giving him over 34 years of experience ministering to people.

Dennis’ journey to freedom from homosexuality has given hope to many caught in habitual sin.  His identity as a son of God and his adherence to Truth was a large part of the freedom he walks in today.

Dennis is passionate about the word of God and dedicated to prayer. He lives in Newmanstown, Pennsylvania with his lovely wife of 32 years, Becky. They have two adult children, Katelyn and Ethan, who are both pursuing the call of God on their lives.
