Redesigning the Kingdom Ministry School

While the KMS has involved over 1400 students from over 140 local churches over the last 8 years, it’s now time for a redesign.  The HNI Apostolic Council agreed to put the school’s certificate programs on pause this school year while some improvements are made.  Barry Wissler, KMS president, plans to visit several other schools and then build a team from HNI to draft a plan for some changes to the school.  One area that needs improvement is the whole area of equipping students for supernatural ministry so Barry and a few others will visit Bethel’s School of Supernatural Ministry in Reading, California.  Another area Barry hopes to see developed further is that of missions and so plans have been made to visit the IRIS school in Mozambique.  The redesigned school which is set to reopen in September of 2016 will retain its emphasis on prayer and worship through Gateway House of Prayer but will also highlight these components of the supernatural, of world missions and general education in church history, Biblical studies, prayer ministry and counseling and some marketplace ministry focus.  Hopefully the school will be able to offer housing and scholarships for international students will be offered once again.   So stay tuned for more details to come 🙂
