Shining Christians and Global Harvest

If you have received the “true Light that has come into the world”, it’s time to rise up and place the Light where it can be seen by all. Be encouraged that when Light shines, it always overcomes darkness. ALWAYS.

Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. 2 For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the LORD will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you. 3 And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. 4 Lift up your eyes all around, and see; they all gather together, they come to you;\

Yes, there is darkness on the earth. That is evident. But Light is never afraid of the dark. In fact, the darkness makes light even more attractive. I believe we are entering a season of global harvest. Not all will be saved before the end, but many, many will. They will be attracted to the Light when we shine. We must “lift up our eyes” and really see the harvest, and reveal the Light and the Glory of God. The nations (people groups) of the world will respond to the Light. It is our destiny.

Shining Christians show Jesus on their face. Joy, Love, and peace can be seen by others. When we receive Jesus, the Light of the World, and let the Glory of God come upon us, we will be releasers of the Light and Glory to others. It’s time to get our focus off of ourselves and on the harvest around us. So, lift up your eyes, as Jesus said and look at the fields. 

God wants you to chase darkness away.
