Join us as we challenge ourselves in the area of Self-Care in preparation for Harvest!

We believe that a supernatural harvest is upon us, such as we have not seen before.  How does a leader prepare to steward such a harvest?

Join us for this coming NET Day as we focus on what we believe will be key in stewarding the coming harvest, Self-Care for Leaders.  

Our guest speakers include the following well known physiologists:

  • Dr. Palmer currently serves as Professor of Marriage and Family Studies at Evangelical Seminary in Myerstown, Pa, and is a State Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, an MFT Approved Supervisor, an Ordained Minister and a Certified Pastoral Counselor. His educational background includes completion of the M.Div in New Testament, D.Min in Marriage and Family Studies, Ph.D. in Pastoral Ministry. Dr. Palmer has served in multiple churches as Senior pastor, Leadership Development pastor, and Family Life minister and counselor, spanning over thirty years of service. Dr. Palmer is author of the book, The Diamond of Adversity: A Theology of Suffering and several articles pertaining to human personhood as understood in therapy contexts.

  • Dr. Jesse Gill is a licensed psychologist who is the Clinic Director for Psychological Health Affiliates in Hershey, PA. He is passionate about integrating Scripture with Attachment Theory.

    Jesse applies these truths to Christian marriage in his book, Face to Face: Seven Keys to a Secure Marriage. He has been providing training on this subject to counselors, couples, and pastors for more than a decade.

    Jesse has served as an elder at his home church and has a heart for pastors. He has provided training, consultation, and assessment services to independent churches and denominations in the Northeast and MidAtlantic. Jesse speaks regularly for the American Association of Christian Counselors and has published articles on building healthy marriages and families which are in print in the US and overseas. He has appeared as a relationship expert for Life, Love, and Family Radio, CBN News, Real America’s Voice, and the Family Research Council.

    He is married to April, and together they build secure attachment in their marriage and with their children.

  • David received his undergraduate degree from Lancaster Bible College in Bible and Pastoral Studies. He received his Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Myerstown Evangelical Theological Seminary. In 2007, David became licensed as a marriage and family therapist. David has recently begun serving as Bishop for Lancaster Mennonite Conference in the Lebanon and Manheim Districts. David has experience in pastoral ministry, youth ministry, prison chaplaincy and many hours of therapy ministry.

    David resides in Newmanstown, PA with, Ella, his wife of 31 years. They have three sons: Seth (27) who is attending MIT and working toward his PhD in physics, Micah (24) who recently graduated from Georgetown University, and Joshua (23) who is working as a welder. In his free time, David enjoys remodeling homes, reading and cutting firewood.
